Syrian Bloggers say: Today, we are all Lebanese

Today, we are all Lebanese.

Lebanon has been sentenced to death. On Wednesday 12July, she was put in prison, and now she's beingtortured.
Syria and Lebanon haven't had the best relationshipover the past year, but there isn't one Syrian whowishes Israel's deadly war on our neighbour.
Israel's war is with Lebanon's civilians, notHizbollah. Nearly every person killed has been acivilian. Power stations, bridges and petrol stationshave been targeted. Israel has warned residents to getout of certain villages, but bombed roads make itdifficult - and refugee convoys have been picked outfor deadly air raids.
And getting out of the country is impossible now too.The airport has been destroyed, the sea ports areblockaded, and the border posts and highways have beenrazed to the ground.
Lebanon is held hostage to the angry Israeli warmachine. And every Syrian blogger stands by her.
Another generation of Lebanese will know nothing butwar. We can't let this happen. Again.
This post has been supported by the group of Syrian bloggers at Syria Planet.

HAZY VIEW!

No matter how much news u watch every day u can't imagine how ugly war can be!...
Oh My God...places I used to pass by like every day...and there's one TV channel that shoots from a place that seems to be right from my window right from our balcony!...what once was a cheerful view of the sea side is now a missed up dark hazy traumatized view!...
Though it seems that Mr. Hasan Nasralla is the only real MAN alive...and I admire every word of his...but I sure hope that this war won't go for long...cuz no matter how arrogant n' mean the Lebanese ppl r none ever should go through this terror...

So much for World Cup 2006

So Brazil lost the game and the world cup is over to me...ya3ni it is a big deal to me...it's a dam shame...

But I would like to say something for those who called me after the game to scorn n' teas me...

Even though it was past midnight...even though I could hardly breathe...even though i was extremely upset...
I answered your call...
Even thought I could turn my phone off...even though I could press the red button...even though I could let it keep on ringing forever...
But now i know this as a fact...
After your absurd phone call...the game score is still the same...Brazil is still out...
BUT...the numbers on ur phone bill r much bigger than before...I know now how far u can go...and so much for being there when I need u...so much for friendship...
