Submission, Islam & Willpower

Thank God am in some kind of peace with myself n' the world these days...so i came across a 600something pages book my mom is reading...usually i wont even come near these books...the book's name is "Al Mu3en, Al Mueen"...so i took a random shot...it talks about how that the submission to God in Islam doesn't contradict the dignity, freedom n' grace of every human being...
A saying for Eben Taymeyh: "Any person who egoism stops him/her from worshiping God and following his guiding principles...no doubt he/she will be worshipping something else...because humans are driven by willpower...and every will leads to a goal...so those who disregard God and his loving teachings as a glorifying goal will find themselves idolizing other things and will end up worshipping it...wither it's Money, Power or Image... So the more a human being devote him/her self to God the more he/she will be liberated from any other creature"

أرى طالب الدنيا وإن طال عمره . . . ونال من الدنيا سروراً و انعما
كـــــــــبان بنى بنيــانه فـأقــامه . . . فلمـا استوى ماقد بناه تهدمــا

still worshiping God is an issue that is a part of Islam ... what i mean is that worshipping God can be done in many different ways dear :D mooo ??

I disagree with the reasoning mentioned. Setting goals doesn't equate to worshiping something.
Plus what exactly does he mean by worshiping?

hehehe iyado!...Moooo!...just incase(MOO=yes : Not a cow sound :D)...
am 100% with u that worshipping God can be done in soooooo many different ways...after covering the basics of course...CHEERS!...

hey omar!...that's what i said when i first read it!...maybe it's lost in translation...but being in peace i gave it a second thought...well am sure he meant worshiping a very tender loving way!...basically speaking Money, Power or Image can be the ultimate goal or it can be our way to a higher glorifying goal...it's about being caught in all the materialistic mortal things n' forgetting about what really truly matters!...
